Before Christmas we were out for lunch with some friends and all the kids were with us - it was a noisy affair with 8 adults and 6 kids, so the way we try and deal with these kinds of situations where we're trying to have a meal out is to bring a few small toys along that will hold the children's interest and stop them from getting up and wandering round the restaurant (although Pizza Express are generally very tolerant of this!). My friends little girl had this collection of Disney Princesses in her obligatory little girls handbag and boy, Isla was quite envious - luckily her friend was happy to share them with her and they both happily played with them. So when we were offered this set to review I said yes as I knew that there would be a little girl in our house who would love to own them (little did i know that Noah would also rather like them!!) and I was right.
She was so excited when she saw it and couldn't wait to get them all out. She knew them all except for Mulan and what also surprised me was that Noah knew quite a few too! Although I'm not sure why but he calls Belle, "Bing Bong Boo". Weird. Obviously they got put in her handbag and she carried them around a lot. They also got involved when we built her Disney Princess Duplo Set:
What I didn't anticipate though was that Noah would become quite keen on them too and that they would cause snatching and pushing and shoving between the kids - oh well, I think I knew this would happen sometime, I just didn't realise that Disney Princesses would be the instigator! Hahahahaha. I'm constantly finding them in different places - in the Peppa Pig rocket, in the bath in the Happyland House, they are great to play with and Isla's favourite is most definitely Cinderella.
The set retails at £20 and can be found at The Disney Store. We were sent this set free of charge in exchange for this review.

Lucky Isla! Can't really see from the box are they the plastic ones where the dresses come off???? Pixie has a few of those and LOVES them but didn't realise they did a set! Mind you, I am so OCD about her Disney stuff, she LOVES the disney princess toddlers (the dolls with big eyes) and all I want to do is keep them pristine in the box as I am sure they are going to be collectors items, all she wants to do is drag them out and about, mess up their hair!! I am a naughty mummy ;-)
