Since having children I've found that we have a higher turnover of 'stuff' in our house. Children grow out of everything so quickly. One minute they're babies, and the next they're off to school and before you know it you have wardrobes cluttered up with all their old clothes and toys. Obviously I'm laying the blame for all our clutter at the kids door and that's not strictly accurate. I have an entire cupboard of CD's upstairs, a PC monitor and tower and a whole three shelves worth of jeans in the wardrobe, and given that we live in a little two up, two down terrace house, space is at a premium, so there is no better way to make some space (and some money!) than to sell your stuff.
Music Magpie offers just that service and it couldn't be easier. You just enter the details of the item that you want to sell into the Valuation Engine and you will get an instant price. You can even use the nifty little iPhone or Android app to scan in barcodes to get your items price more speedily and save you the bother of booting up your PC or laptop! It's also possible to sell through the Music Magpie Facebook app. When I first heard of Music Magpie I thought that they only bought CD's but it turns out that they will also take DVD's, BluRay, Monitors, PC's, laptops, games and games consoles and even clothes!
You might think this is all too much bother, but it gets better as sending your items is free. Music Magpie have a free Send Service, whereby you can drop your goods to your local 'Send Shop' - apparently there is usually one of these within a mile of your home, or collection by courier service. It couldn't really be easier.
Then the best bit is getting the money for all the old gubbins that was cluttering up your house! Again, totally easy, bank transfer, cheque, e-voucher for Marks and Spencer (oooooh) or instead use your earnings to boost a charity by making a donation.
So next time you're wracking your brains what to do with all your stuff check out Music Magpie.
